Logan & Mason are a household name in NZ, operating for 20 years in the business of luxurious bed linen and accessories. They stock really interesting collections and a huge range of duvet covers, cushions and throws, to suit every decorative taste. I jumped at the opportunity to style my sleep sanctuary and critique their products. This is the result.
Anyone who’s followed my photography knows I’m a stickler for light, clean, predominantly white work. “White is right” is my motto, and my taste in style is no exception. I believe your bed should be a like a cloud, enveloping you in plump, white, pure softness as you wind down for the day. There is something weightless about white.
I love the minimalist movement. Soft subtle greys paired with white is my idea of luxe.
I began this styling journey with Logan & Mason’s 500 Thread Count Hotel Grande Stripe Sheet Set. These crisp, yet oh-so-soft cotton sheets seriously feel like I’m sliding into a luxury hotel bed at home. And I like the stripes that make them a little more interesting. I also have a crisp white 400 Thread Count Cotton Fitted Sheet for when I want to ditch the stripes. You can tell a slight difference in silkiness between the two; but they’re both beautiful to sleep on. First tick towards cloud sleeping.
Next step, duvet cover. I invited the Essex Pewter Duvet Cover Set and Essex Pewter Pillowcases into my home. This is where i’ve bought black and grey into the palette and a really cool subtle pattern. In this image you can just see the intricate herringbone pattern on the duvet cover on the right. Soft, subtle, so well made, love it.
Lucy is in heaven. She is my contrasting feature in the styling. She found a dreamy spot to rest her paws and fell asleep not long after I shot this.
I finished off my cloud nine with a white Pure Cotton Waffle Blanket as a throw, and comfy Waffle White Cushions. I accessorised with a little bit of black to tie in the duvet cover stitch, and Lucy’s colouring (of course). Then I settled in for a fantastic night’s sleep. If cloud sleeping sounds good to you, check out Logan & Mason’s massive range. Boxes…ticked.
